How to Order Your Custom Helmet

Step 1 — Choose Your Paint Level

Start by selecting the paint level that best matches the complexity of the design you have in mind. Don't overthink it — after you submit your design brief, our painters will review it and confirm whether the final price is higher, the same, or lower. You are never locked in until the design is approved.

• Level 1 — Single or dual color base with minimal graphics. Clean, bold, and fast to produce.
• Level 2 — Multi-color design with moderate graphic complexity. Logos, gradients, and custom panels.
• Level 3 — Most Popular ✔ — Full custom design with complex graphics, multiple colors, sponsor logos, and detailed artwork. This is the level chosen by the vast majority of our customers and covers most professional-style designs. We recommend starting here.
• Level 4 — Ultra-premium finishes including chrome, specialty paints, hydrographics, or extreme detail work. Reserved for the most demanding custom projects.

Bell carbon helmets are manufactured at the Bell Racing plant in Bahrain — the same facility that produces helmets for Formula 1, WEC, and IndyCar teams. You are getting a factory-level product, personalized for you.

Step 3 — Submit Your Design Brief

Once you place your order, our team will reach out to collect your design references, colors, logos, and any specific artwork. Our painters — either at the Bell Paint Department in Bahrain or our selected painters in the USA (depending on your turnaround and budget) — will review your brief and confirm the final pricing before production begins.
