MR17, operating under the DRIVEN partnership (formerly Zanella Racing Engines), offers complete top and bottom end rebuild service for national-level karting engines. Every rebuild is dyno-verified before return, with fast turnaround and round-trip shipping included.
This is a complete rebuild program — engineered for programs that demand consistent performance, full documentation, and expert support.

How It Works
- Select your engine brand and displacement below and place your rebuild order
- Include your engine serial number and carburetor serial number in the checkout notes
- Receive a prepaid shipping label from MR17
- Pack your engine following the instructions below and ship it to us
- We complete the rebuild, dyno test the engine, and return it within approximately 2 weeks
Important — Complete Rebuilds Only
We offer complete rebuilds (top and bottom end) only. This ensures maximum reliability, consistent performance, and full quality control across every engine we service.

Additional Parts & Repairs
If your engine requires parts beyond the standard rebuild kit — such as crankshafts, coils, starters, plug connectors, or cables — we will contact you before any additional work is performed. All extra parts are billed at MSRP with full transparency.
Shipping & Packing Instructions
To protect your engine in transit, please follow these guidelines:
- Do not send the radiator, harness, water pump, or hoses
- Pack the engine separately from the carburetor in a heavy-duty box (double-wall recommended)
- Cushion the bottom, sides, and top heavily with bubble wrap
- Ensure the engine is completely immobile inside the box — no movement in any direction
- Shake the box gently before sealing — if anything moves, repack before shipping
We cannot accept responsibility for engines damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging.
Not Included — Please Read
The following components are not part of this rebuild service and should not be included in your shipment:
- Radiator
- Wiring harness
- Water pump
- Hoses
These components are critical to your engine's cooling and electrical reliability. It is your responsibility to ensure they are in excellent condition prior to reinstalling your rebuilt engine.
