Sizing Guide & How to Measure Yourself
HRX is an Italian bespoke motorsport brand offering both standard-size and made-to-measure racing suits. Getting the right fit is essential — not just for comfort, but for safety on track. This page will walk you through everything you need to know before placing your order.
Step 1 — Download the Size Chart
Start by downloading the official HRX size chart. It covers four categories:
- Adult – Man (sizes 46–64)
- Adult – Woman (sizes 38–56)
- Child (120–150)
- Young (sizes 38–44)
All measurements are circumferences expressed in centimeters (cm).

Step 2 — Take Your Measurements
Before measuring, keep these rules in mind:
- Use a soft measuring tape only.
- Measure wearing underwear only — never over clothing.
- Place the tape at the belly button level as a reference for waist.
- Do not add extra cm — HRX builds in the necessary ease.
- Have someone assist you for the most accurate results.
Key Measurements for Standard Sizing
| Measurement | How to Take It |
|---|---|
| Chest | Largest part of the chest, under the armpits |
| Waist | Belly button level |
| Pelvis / Hips | Largest point of the hips, ~22–23 cm from waist |
| Weight | In kilograms (kg) |
| Height | In centimeters (cm) |
Step 3 — Standard or Made to Measure?
Once you have your measurements, compare them against the size chart:
- If your measurements match a standard size — select that size when ordering. You're good to go.
- If your measurements fall between sizes or you have specific proportions — a made-to-measure suit is the right choice.
A fully completed HRX Measurement Form is required before your order can go into production. We will contact you after your order is placed to collect the form. Production typically takes 4–6 weeks.
Made to Measure — Full Measurement List
For bespoke orders, HRX requires 16 precise body measurements. Download the official form below — it includes illustrated instructions for each measurement point.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a standard and a made-to-measure HRX racing suit?
A standard HRX suit is produced in fixed sizes based on average body proportions. A made-to-measure (bespoke) suit is crafted to your exact body measurements across 16 measurement points, ensuring a precise fit for drivers with non-standard proportions or specific customization needs.
What sizes are available for HRX auto racing suits?
HRX racing suits are available in standard sizes for Adult Men (46–64), Adult Women (38–56), Children (120–150), and Young (38–44). All sizes are based on body circumference measurements in centimeters. If your measurements fall between sizes, a made-to-measure suit is recommended.
How long does an HRX made-to-measure racing suit take to produce?
HRX made-to-measure suits typically take 4 to 6 weeks from the time your completed measurement form is received and approved. Please plan accordingly if you have an upcoming race or event. Rush Orders Available on HRX.
How do I submit my measurements for a made-to-measure HRX suit?
After placing your order, our team will contact you to collect your completed HRX Measurement Form. The form must be fully filled out with all 16 body measurements. You can download the form from this page to prepare in advance. Incomplete forms will delay production.
Are HRX racing suits FIA homologated?
Yes, HRX offers FIA-homologated racing suits that meet the safety standards required for circuit racing, rally, and other motorsport disciplines. Please check the specific product listing for the homologation rating applicable to each suit model.
Can I return or exchange a made-to-measure HRX racing suit?
Made-to-measure suits are custom-produced to your specific measurements and cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturing defect. HRX does not accept responsibility for errors resulting from incorrect measurements provided by the customer. Please measure carefully and double-check before submitting your form.
How should I measure myself for an HRX racing suit?
Use a soft measuring tape and measure over underwear only — never over clothing. Do not add extra centimeters to your measurements, as HRX builds in the necessary ease. Have someone assist you for accuracy, and use your belly button level as a reference point for the waist measurement. Download the size chart above for a full guide.
What fitting options are available for HRX made-to-measure suits?
When ordering a made-to-measure HRX suit, you can specify your preferred fitting style: Close (tight, performance-oriented), Standard (balanced comfort and fit), or Loose (more relaxed). You can also customize pockets, belt, leg bottom style, and other options on the measurement form.
