This page walks you through everything you need before placing your order.
Step 1 — Download the Size Chart
Start by downloading the official HRX karting size chart. It covers all age groups and body types:
- Adult – Man (sizes 46–64)
- Adult – Woman (sizes 38–56)
- Child (120–150 — ages 6–13)
- Young (sizes 38–44)
All measurements are circumferences expressed in centimeters (cm). Child sizing also includes thigh and crotch measurements.

Follow these rules for accurate measurements:
- Use a soft measuring tape only.
- Measure wearing underwear only — never over clothing.
- Place the tape at the belly button level as a reference for waist.
- Do not add extra cm — HRX builds in the necessary ease.
- Have someone assist you for the most accurate results.
- For children, measure carefully — karting suits need to allow full arm and leg movement.
Key Measurements for Standard Sizing
| Measurement | How to Take It |
|---|---|
| Chest | Largest part of the chest, under the armpits |
| Waist | Belly button level |
| Pelvis / Hips | Largest point of the hips, ~22–23 cm from waist |
| Thigh (Child only) | Largest circumference of the thigh |
| Crotch (Child only) | Circumference measurement — see size chart |
| Weight | In kilograms (kg) |
| Height | In centimeters (cm) |
Step 3 — Standard or Made to Measure?
Once you have your measurements, compare them against the size chart:
- If your measurements match a standard size — select that size when ordering. You're good to go.
- If your measurements fall between sizes, you have a non-standard build, or you're ordering for a child with specific proportions — a made-to-measure suit is the right choice.
A fully completed HRX Measurement Form is required before your order can go into production. We will contact you after your order is placed to collect the form. Production typically takes 4–6 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes are available for HRX karting suits?
HRX karting suits are available in standard sizes for Adult Men (46–64), Adult Women (38–56), Children (120–150, ages 6–13), and Young (38–44). Child sizing includes additional thigh and crotch measurements for a more precise fit. All sizes are based on body circumference measurements in centimeters.
Do HRX karting suits come in children’s sizes?
Yes. HRX offers dedicated child sizing (120–150) for ages 6–13, as well as a Young category (sizes 38–44) for older juniors. Child suits require additional measurements including thigh and crotch circumference for an accurate fit. A made-to-measure option is also available for young drivers with non-standard proportions.
What is the difference between a standard and a made-to-measure HRX karting suit?
A standard HRX karting suit is produced in fixed sizes based on average body proportions. A made-to-measure suit is crafted to your exact body measurements across 16 measurement points, ensuring a precise fit for drivers — including children — with non-standard proportions or specific customization needs.
How long does an HRX made-to-measure karting suit take to produce?
HRX made-to-measure karting suits typically take 4 to 6 weeks from the time your completed measurement form is received and approved. Plan ahead if you have an upcoming race or karting event.
How do I submit my measurements for a made-to-measure HRX karting suit?
After placing your order, our team will contact you to collect your completed HRX Measurement Form. The form must be fully filled out with all 16 body measurements. You can download the form from this page to prepare in advance. Incomplete forms will delay production.
Are HRX karting suits CIK-FIA homologated?
HRX offers karting suits that meet CIK-FIA homologation standards, which are required for competitive karting events. Please check the specific product listing for the homologation level (Level 1 or Level 2) applicable to each suit model before purchasing for competition use.
Can I return or exchange a made-to-measure HRX karting suit?
Made-to-measure suits are custom-produced to your specific measurements and cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturing defect. HRX does not accept responsibility for errors resulting from incorrect measurements provided by the customer. Please measure carefully and double-check before submitting your form.
How should I measure a child for an HRX karting suit?
Use a soft measuring tape and measure over underwear only. For children, take extra care to measure the chest, waist, hips, thigh, and crotch circumferences accurately. Do not add extra centimeters — HRX builds in the necessary ease for movement. Have an adult assist with the measurements and refer to the child sizing section of the HRX size chart.
What fitting options are available for HRX made-to-measure karting suits?
When ordering a made-to-measure HRX karting suit, you can specify your preferred fitting style: Close (tight, performance-oriented), Standard (balanced comfort and fit), or Loose (more relaxed). You can also customize pockets, belt, and leg bottom style on the measurement form.
